OPERATIONS AND PRODUCTION SYSTEM SUPPORT

Project Manager

Directs, establishes, plans and implements the policies and procedures in support of the organization’s Network and PC project and production support services. Manages the deployment, maintenance, support and upgrade of servers, desktop PC, hardware, software, operating systems and distributed printers. Possesses at least 7-10 years of industry experience and may include network security as well as an advanced degree in Computer Science and various certifications including Certified Project Management Professional – PMP and Certified Information Systems Security Professional – CISSP, etc. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to senior management.

 

Project Leader

Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members. Reviews, plans, and evaluates network/desktop systems. May troubleshoot network/desktop systems and recommend improvements. Provides documentation, project tracking, management reporting, and tactical and strategic input on overall network/desktop planning and related projects. Possesses 5+ years of LAN and Desktop related project support experience, project coordination and lead technical experience as well. May also hold a degree in Computer Science. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a project manager or department head.

 

Sr. Network Engineer

Installs, builds, configures, administers, and maintains organization’s network and internal and external web presence. May provide network design and architecture and support of servers and supporting software. Possesses at least 5-7 years of networking experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to some of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional – MCP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE, A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA, Cisco Certified Network Professional – CCNP, & Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator – CCSA, etc. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

Network Administrator

Installs, configures, maintains, administers and performs system backups of organization’s network. Possesses at least 3-5 years of networking experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to some of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional – MCP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE, A+, Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA, Cisco Certified Network Professional – CCNP, & Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator – CCSA, etc. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

Network Security Architect

Troubleshoots network access problems and implements network security policies and procedures. Ensures network (LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice) security access and protects against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. May hold a degree in Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in the field and have experience in SAN Management, Security Architecture Design, Risk Assessment, Security Management, Firewalls, as well as the following certifications: CISSP, CCSA, & CIW, etc. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

 

Mail Server Administrator

Monitors servers, replication, and mail routing. Creates user accounts and maintains security levels on databases. Provides first-level telephone support and troubleshooting. Monitors existing messaging infrastructure and server usage, ensuring proper working order. Possesses at least 5+ years of experience focused specifically in E-mail messaging systems such as Lotus Notes, MS Exchange, Outlook and GroupWise etc. May hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to some of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional – MCP, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE, A+, & Network+ etc. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a manager.

 

PC Technician III/Lead

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, upgrades, and repairs computer systems, hardware, software and computer peripherals. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. Possesses at least 5 years of PC technical support experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to some of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE and A+ Certification and Cisco Certified Network Associate – CCNA, etc. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others as well as provide training to Junior Technicians. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

PC Technician II

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, upgrades, replaces and repairs desktop computer systems, hardware, software and various peripherals including printers. Performs moves, adds and Changes. Possesses at least 3 years of PC technical support experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to some of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE, A+ and Network+, etc. Platform knowledge should also include Windows NT Workstation, Windows 2000 and basic TCP/IP knowledge. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

PC Technician I

Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs desktop computer systems, hardware, software and various peripherals including printers. Performs moves, adds and changes. Possesses at least 5+ years of helpdesk experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer – MCSE and A+ Certification, etc. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Project Manager Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems. Leads multiple projects and oversees developers to ensure that specifications are met. Wide experience in project inception, elaboration, construction and transition, employing System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Rapid Application Development (RAD). Possesses at least 8-10 years of Project Management experience over Application Development initiatives and may hold an advanced degree in Computer Science in addition to familiarity with some of the following development languages: Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Foxpro, C++, Delphi, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access and Powerbuilder etc. Leads and directs the work of others. Typically reports to top management.

Project Leader

Designs, plans, and coordinates work teams. Provides technical support to project team members. Handles complex application features and technical designs. Designs and implements the components required for complex application features. Possesses at least 7 years of experience in application development as well as experience in a lead development role and may hold a degree in Computer Science as well as some of the following development languages: Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Foxpro, C++, Delphi, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access and Powerbuilder etc. Generally manages a group of applications systems analysts. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a project or senior manager.

 

Senior Business Analyst Identifies and negotiates strategic relationships with content and technological partners. Works with marketing, sales and product development teams to implement business development initiatives. Possesses at least 5-7 years of business analysis experience as well as a degree in Computer Science, Business or Finance. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead or direct the work of others. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

 

Business Analyst

Identifies and helps to develop strategic relationships with content and technological partners. Works with marketing, sales and product development teams to implement business development initiatives. Possesses at least 3-4 years of business analysis experience as well as a degree in Computer Science, Business or Finance. Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

 

Senior Client/Server Programmer/Analyst

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization’s client/server software applications. Possesses 7+ years of client/server software development experience, full life cycle development experience, and may hold a degree in Computer Science as well as some of the following development languages: Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Foxpro, C++, Delphi, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access and Powerbuilder etc. Expert level experience with both client-server and relational database concepts. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

 

Client/Server Programmer/Analyst Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization’s client/server software applications. Possesses 3+ years client/server software development experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science as well as some of the following development languages: Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual Foxpro, C++, Delphi, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MS Access and Powerbuilder etc. Familiar with both client-server and relational database concepts. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

DATABASE DEVELOPMENT

Sr. Database Architect

Designs and builds relational databases. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and database implementation. Possesses at least 8-10 years of Database Development and Design experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to experience with some of the following Databases and related platforms: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, ErWin, SQL, and SQL Plus, etc. May provide consultation on complex projects and lead and direct the work of others. Is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

 

Data Architect

Designs and builds relational databases. Develops strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database. Cleans and maintains the database by removing and deleting old data. Possesses at least 4-6 years of Database Development and Design experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to experience with some of the following Databases and related platforms: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, ErWin, SQL, and SQL Plus, etc. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.

 

Data Warehouse Specialist

Designs, implements and supports data warehousing. Implements business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies. Defines user interfaces and functional specifications. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data, and the maintenance and support of the data warehouse. Possesses at least 4-6 years of Database Development and Design experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to experience with some of the following Databases and related platforms: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, ErWin, SQL, and SQL Plus, etc. Typically reports to a manager.

 

Database Administrator Administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Possesses at least 4-6 years of Database Administration experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science in addition to experience with some of the following Databases and related platforms: Oracle, MS SQL Server, Teradata, ErWin, SQL, and SQL Plus, etc. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a manager.


 

WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

Sr. Web Application Developer Develops and designs interface, front pages, and tools for web site navigation. Performs unit testing at the page level. Sets code standards, and leads code reviews. Develops the site technical specifications and plans and reviews the navigational user interface design as well as the site architecture for new web site products and features. Possesses 5-7years of web application development experience, full life cycle of web development experience, and may hold a Computer Science degree as well in addition to some of the following platforms: HTML, JAVA, EJB, Java Beans, Weblogic, Websphere, ColdFusion, UNIX and Windows, etc. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

 

Web Application Developer

Develops and designs interface, front pages, and the tools to navigate a web site. Plans and reviews web site architecture and provides troubleshooting and testing. Performs unit testing at the page level. Reviews specifications and provides time estimates on the development of projects and features. Possesses 3-4 years of web application development experience and may hold a Computer Science degree as well in addition to some of the following platforms: HTML, JAVA, EJB, Java Beans, Weblogic, Websphere, ColdFusion, UNIX and Windows, etc. Works under general supervision and typically reports to a project leader or manager.


 

SOFTWARE QUALITY ASSURANCE & TECHNICAL WRITING

Senior Software Quality Assurance Analyst Develops, publishes, and implements test plans and writes and maintains test automation. Develops quality assurance standards and defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Possesses 5-7 years of software quality assurance and testing experience, working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and system development lifecycles (SDLC), experience with automated testing tools such as Mercury’s suite of tools: (Test Director, LoadRunner & WinRunner), QA Partner, Silk, Black and White box testing and coding in various languages such as C, C++, & Java etc. Familiar with NT, UNIX and/or Solaris environments and could also include a degree in Computer Science. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a manager.

Senior Mainframe Programmer/Analyst

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for large-scale mainframe computers. Maintains and develops on-line and batch application programs. Develops and implements a disaster recovery plan. Works with project members to develop specifications, diagrams and flowcharts. Possesses 8-10 years of mainframe development experience and may hold a degree in Computer Science as well as experience with some of the following software platforms and languages: Cobol, Assembler, IMS, MVS, DYL 280, JCL, PanValet, TSO/ISPF, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and SQL, etc. May provide consultation on complex projects and lead and direct the work of others. Is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
